Key responsibilities & impact

analyze product requirements for State Street’s software platforms
design effective test cases to meet requirements
develop System and Integration test plans and Test scenarios
take ownership of product modules
perform QA effort estimations
conduct functional, regression, and E2E testing
write, review, and implement test cases for automation
participate in automation design and review
provide crisp & clear analysis of issues found during testing
maintain timely communication between QA, Development, and Product teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

minimum 5 years of experience in software IT industry
hands-on QA & QA Automation
proven ability to write, review, and implement test plans and test cases (both manual and automated)
demonstrated experience in taking ownership of product modules, QA effort estimations, and performing the required testing for all software modifications
proven ability to document all Test artifacts including Test Cases and Test Plans in the Test Case Management System
proven ability in performing stress tests on large scale applications
experience with tools like Jmeter, Load runner
demonstrated experience with large, complex business applications and distributed systems troubleshooting
demonstrated experience in understanding the software development lifecycle, especially in Agile
demonstrated experience with web services, REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML
demonstrated experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
demonstrated experience with software build and release management processes
demonstrated experience with automation tools and scripting
good to have experience testing complex trading platforms
