About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- analyze product requirements for State Street’s software platforms
- design effective test cases to meet requirements
- develop System and Integration test plans and Test scenarios
- take ownership of product modules
- perform QA effort estimations
- conduct functional, regression, and E2E testing
- write, review, and implement test cases for automation
- participate in automation design and review
- provide crisp & clear analysis of issues found during testing
- maintain timely communication between QA, Development, and Product teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- minimum 5 years of experience in software IT industry
- hands-on QA & QA Automation
- proven ability to write, review, and implement test plans and test cases (both manual and automated)
- demonstrated experience in taking ownership of product modules, QA effort estimations, and performing the required testing for all software modifications
- proven ability to document all Test artifacts including Test Cases and Test Plans in the Test Case Management System
- proven ability in performing stress tests on large scale applications
- experience with tools like Jmeter, Load runner
- demonstrated experience with large, complex business applications and distributed systems troubleshooting
- demonstrated experience in understanding the software development lifecycle, especially in Agile
- demonstrated experience with web services, REST, SOAP, XSLT, XSD, and XML
- demonstrated experience with UNIX, Linux, and Windows operating systems
- demonstrated experience with software build and release management processes
- demonstrated experience with automation tools and scripting
- good to have experience testing complex trading platforms
