About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drive risk excellence across technology and the organization by ensuring robust DQ management and enhancing data collection processes
Own and refine DQ Standard, Principles, Requirements and Guidelines
Own, operate and measure DQ Issue Management process
Implement DQ and Compliance Key Risk Indicators and Key Performance Indicators
Manage data quality monitoring mechanisms and associated reports and dashboards
Implement and maintain tools to automate data quality checks and monitoring processes in SSBI
Work with IT to ensure system capabilities support ongoing data quality needs
Partner with Risk and Finance teams on Data Quality and Compliance Management and oversight
Own the RDAR Framework and oversee its execution and compliance
Ensure all new business and IT programs maintain or enhance BCBS239 compliance

Requirements

What you’ll need

Ability to own, manage and deliver large initiatives
Deep BCBS239 experience and understanding
Strong experience in leading dealing with regulatory expectation
Passionate about the value of data and a data driven culture
Strong inter-personal and leadership skills
Hands-on experience with data governance and data quality tools
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Information Technology, Finance)
10+ years of experience in the financial industry, preferably in capital markets or financial markets infrastructure
3+ years in data governance and management
Strong problem solver: strong analytical skills (e.g. breaking up & structuring complex problems into manageable pieces)
