About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and optimize ETL pipelines to support reconciliation processes and ensure accurate data movement across systems.
- Analyze complex data sets to identify discrepancies, resolve data quality issues, and implement solutions for improved data accuracy.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data engineers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL jobs, proactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks or failures.
- Document ETL processes, data flows, and business rules to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing within the team.
- Contribute to automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce manual intervention in reconciliation workflows.
- Stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in ETL, data integration, and reconciliation.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in ETL development, data integration, or a similar role.
- Proficiency with ETL tools e.g. DataStage, or similar.
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases.
- Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Experience with reconciliation processes or financial data management is highly desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
