Key responsibilities & impact

Take ownership of Workday security while managing identity governance, data privacy, and compliance
Design and implement Workday security models across HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, etc
Lead security architecture reviews and provide guidance on security best practices
Ensure compliance with internal and external regulations
Collaborate with various teams to align security practices with business needs
Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday security incidents and escalations
Manage a dedicated team of three

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in information security, Computer Science, or related field
8–10+ years of experience in enterprise application security, with 5+ years in Workday security
Demonstrated strong leadership skills and experience including managing teams and cross-functional initiatives
Expert hands-on experience with Workday security configuration and architecture
Strong critical thinking, risk management, and communication skills
Familiarity with data privacy laws and cybersecurity compliance frameworks
Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Pro in Security) preferred
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
