About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own and execute the national account strategy for a defined set of the firm’s largest intermediary platforms
- Drive asset growth and improving placement for State Street Investment Management solutions
- Develop and deepen relationships with key home office and platform decision-makers
- Lead strategic partnership initiatives with key intermediary programs
- Drive new platform onboarding and expansion
- Partner with regional consultants, marketing, product, investments, and operations to deliver coordinated coverage
- Lead senior-level presentations, product training, and due diligence meetings
- Monitor industry, platform, and regulatory developments
- Provide senior management with disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in asset management sales
- Proven track record of owning and growing large intermediary platforms and influencing senior home office decision-makers
- Deep understanding of intermediary distribution (wirehouse, IBD, RIA platforms)
- Strong preference for experience across ETFs and model portfolios
- Familiarity with related solutions (SMAs, direct indexing, alternatives)
- Strong understanding of financial markets and portfolio construction
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
- Series 7 and 63/65 licenses strongly preferred
