About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Own and execute the national account strategy for a defined set of the firm’s largest intermediary platforms
  • Drive asset growth and improving placement for State Street Investment Management solutions
  • Develop and deepen relationships with key home office and platform decision-makers
  • Lead strategic partnership initiatives with key intermediary programs
  • Drive new platform onboarding and expansion
  • Partner with regional consultants, marketing, product, investments, and operations to deliver coordinated coverage
  • Lead senior-level presentations, product training, and due diligence meetings
  • Monitor industry, platform, and regulatory developments
  • Provide senior management with disciplined pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience in asset management sales
  • Proven track record of owning and growing large intermediary platforms and influencing senior home office decision-makers
  • Deep understanding of intermediary distribution (wirehouse, IBD, RIA platforms)
  • Strong preference for experience across ETFs and model portfolios
  • Familiarity with related solutions (SMAs, direct indexing, alternatives)
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and portfolio construction
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field; MBA and/or CFA designation preferred
  • Series 7 and 63/65 licenses strongly preferred
