About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Own end-to-end resolution of major production incidents across AWS-hosted applications
- Monitor and troubleshoot application, data, and infrastructure health using AWS CloudWatch
- Drive automation and self-healing initiatives to reduce manual operational effort
- Ensure reliability of batch-oriented data processing by understanding application flows
- Work closely with Dev and L4 teams on incident triage and release/change reviews
- Maintain high-quality operational documentation in ServiceNow and runbooks
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.S. degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred.
- 10 – 15 years application support experience
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and attention to details skills
- Strong written and verbal communications
- Must be deadline oriented with the ability to provide technical expertise to resolve daily problems.
- Experience supporting distributed and cloud-‑hosted application environments
- Understanding of batch-‑oriented data processing and data delivery systems
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC and release/change processes in enterprise environments
