About the role
- Lead an agile product manager, data analyst, and engineering team in a matrix organization to deliver innovative solutions that address evolving business and client requirements
- Collaborate with global teams to execute cross-border projects and continuously enhance best practices in data product solutions
- Mentor and develop junior data product manager, data analyst, and engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance
- Oversee data demand and problem rationalization, product feature design, and data workflow for both structured and unstructured data, leveraging AI technologies
- Pioneer the design and development of data agents using agentic AI frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or a related field
- Minimum 17 years of experience in the financial services industry
- At least 15 years of hands-on experience in core data domains in asset management industry such as Sales, Flow, product, marketing, and finance
- At least 10 years of data product management experience and proficient with product lifecycle management and business driven execution
- At least 10 years of hands-on experience with Salesforces, its vendor ecosystem, and global sales distribution channels
- Familiar with index based passive product, actively managed ETF, digital product, and derivative enhanced product from research, launch, and post-launch data management
- Proficiency in modern data management tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks) and programming languages (Python, SQL);
- familiarity with AI code generation tools such as Anthropic Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with unstructured data (e.g., Sales note, 13F filings, news, social media)
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across multiple countries
- Results-driven, detail-oriented, and candid in approach
- Any of the following is highly desirable: Prior experience in a data product or engineering role within a financial institution. Experience with structured and unstructured data management tools (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, document management systems). Completion of CFA Level II, FRM, or equivalent certification.
