About the role

  • understand requirements, scope and acceptance criteria for any Change Requests
  • responsible for initial analysis and providing estimates of BA time for Change Requests
  • analyse new system functionalities and documenting how they will support and impact business functions
  • define mappings and business rules between “as is” and “to be” business models
  • identify and act on opportunities to improve current processes
  • working closely with developers and end users to ensure technical compatibility and user satisfaction
  • drafting requirements documents, Application Support Documents, User Manuals and associated Training Materials
  • conducting walkthroughs of all documents with stakeholders, obtaining appropriate sign-off
  • reporting progress to a Project Manager
  • Management of small projects or various ad-hoc initiatives such as testing, system validations or short-notice business changes

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role, or equivalent operational experience working in Transfer Agency or funds industry.
  • strong analytical skillset and be able to evaluate several potential alternatives to a given challenge.
  • excellent business writing skills, especially the ability to define and communicate requirements clearly.
  • comfortable interacting with and influencing multiple stakeholders and at presenting information in a succinct manner to clients and to senior audiences.
  • self-motivated with the ability to work as an individual or part of a team.
  • proficient at using MS Office suite, particularly Excel, Visio, Powerpoint, Word for business purposes.
  • end to end experience of the project life-cycle, showing a good understanding of User Acceptance Testing, implementations and documentation.
