Lead and manage the investment risk oversight process for our equity book of business
Own the measurement, quantification and communication of market risk exposures
Create and present key risk summaries to senior management on an ongoing basis
Participate in strategic initiatives and special projects, in collaboration with the first line and strategic partners
Suggest methodologies for improving portfolio risk analytics and overall risk framework
Undertake unsupervised research on areas of risk management
Collaborate with colleagues within the global organization in the design and implementation of policies, procedures and processes for the investment risk program

Requirements

MBA, MSF and/or CFA preferred
7-10 years of relevant industry experience (research, risk management) with solid knowledge of equity products
Strong understanding of portfolio construction, risk analytics, and investments
Experience with risk concepts and database tools
Programming skills (VBA, Python, R, Matlab) is a plus
Capable of taking responsibility for independent projects with limited supervision
Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
Strong technical skills: ability to build tools and reporting for risk management and to leverage technology and systems.
