About the role

  • Focus on business development with DC specialists/consultants within the Central or West Region
  • Drive SSIM’s sales strategy to grow and expand market share
  • Own key client and strategic partner relationships
  • Identify the needs of clients’ varying business practices
  • Provide meaningful market insights, product information, investment ideas and sales support
  • Cultivate new and existing relationships to drive Net New Revenue and Net New Assets
  • Lead and coordinate travel throughout the Region with SMEs, asset management partners, and ETF team
  • Mentor and groom internal peers on the team
  • Deliver risk excellence and comply with the sales supervision culture

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience and a successful track record selling to DC Advisors and Consultants
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • FINRA 7, 63 required
  • Strong investment acumen and knowledge of target date funds, index, and multi-asset class solutions
  • Existing industry relationships with DC advisors/consultants and their research teams
  • Ability to work successfully within a team
  • Extraordinary verbal and written communication and sales presentation skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt quickly while applying creativity
  • Willingness to travel within defined geographic territory (up to 50%)
