About the role
- Managing an investment monitoring team members in their review of all fund types to ensure compliance with the funds’ investment restrictions including sophisticated derivatives
- Ensure timely and proper completion of tasks of team members
- Review and comment on draft prospectuses and financial statements
- Appraise performance of team members
- Devise work programs and schedules
- Select potential team members
- Ensure breaches are rectified in a timely manner
- Respond to client queries
- Test of compliance monitoring systems and reporting thereon
- Attend board meetings
- Create and update Depositary policies and procedures
Requirements
- Degree qualified
- Relevant funds industry experience
- Understanding of funds investment objective and strategies is preferable
- Sound understanding of the regulatory framework for Funds (UCITS/Non-UCITS)
- Knowledge of, or familiarity with, investment monitoring systems
- Strong technical IT skills
- Previous experience in structured products including derivatives would be a distinct advantage
