About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Achieve annual targeted sales, average selling prices and conversion ratios
  • Monitor and report on progress, identifying and acting upon issues and concerns
  • Formulate and exercise strategies for optimising sales
  • Assess client needs through effective questioning techniques
  • Provide accurate quotations and ensure leads and quotes are followed up
  • Identify, visit and build relationships with prospects and repeat customers
  • Carry out site visits where required
  • Promote and sell the machinery directive Lift range
  • Develop strong customer relationships, identify new opportunities, and guide clients toward appropriate technical solutions
  • Cover South Midlands, with some coverage into the Southeast and East Midlands, involving regular regional travel

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Previous experience working within a lift industry job, ideally in a sales capacity
  • Relevant professional or technical qualification or related experience
  • Understanding of the new lift market
  • Confidence applying technical knowledge in a commercial environment
  • Driven to achieve results
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
  • Appropriate right to work must be held by applicants
  • Sponsorship is not available
