About the role
- Design for Mobile-First - Own the mobile design strategy from end to end. Create responsive flows, wireframes, and prototypes that prioritize thumb-friendly layouts , limited screen real estate , and quick interactions .
- Simplify Complexity – Transform detailed, multi-step workflows into simple, elegant mobile and desktop experiences, especially within enterprise contexts.
- End-to-End Ownership - Lead projects through all phases, from discovery and user research to iterative design, handoff, and refinement - with a bias toward mobile usability.
- AI-Forward Thinking - Identify opportunities to integrate AI into product workflows, enhancing automation, personalization, and speed-to-value.
- User-First Mindset - Conduct research and usability testing with a mobile lens. Understand how context (e.g., interruptions, one-handed use, small screens) impacts experience.
- Clear Communication - Present design concepts clearly, with a strong rationale. Communicate tradeoffs and constraints, especially when adapting features from desktop to mobile.
- Scalable Design - Help evolve Stampli’s design system with mobile-specific components and patterns that support consistent cross-platform experiences.
- Innovation & Growth - Stay on top of mobile UX trends , AI integration patterns , and platform-specific best practices (e.g., iOS and Android design guidelines).
Requirements
- 5+ years of UX/product design experience, with a strong emphasis on mobile-first design.
- Proven success designing intuitive, user-friendly solutions for complex B2B workflows, especially for mobile platforms.
- Experience designing for mobile gestures, bottom navigation, responsive layouts, and device limitations.
- Demonstrated ability to spot and address UX friction in mobile contexts (e.g., form entry, receipt capture, approval actions).
- Experience with AI-enhanced product design, especially where automation or intelligent suggestions improve speed and accuracy.
- Skilled in Figma, and comfortable collaborating with engineers to translate designs into production-ready solutions.
- Strong UX research and testing skills, with a mobile-first lens.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Able to work across US and Israel time zones.
- A portfolio that showcases mobile-first designs with AI-powered interactions and clear UX thinking.
