About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Run the full trade lifecycle day to day, including order execution monitoring, reconciliation, and reporting
Own daily reconciliation across venues, custodians, and wallets
Monitor execution in real time and resolve bad fills, routing problems, stale quotes, and slippage
Build and maintain operational tools and workflows for trading activity
Own the incident runbook and act as first responder to trading errors and venue outages
Track incidents, identify root causes, and coordinate with engineering to prevent recurrence
Maintain monitoring, alerting, and escalation paths to keep the desk resilient
Continuously improve processes to reduce errors, manual work, and operational bottlenecks
Produce operational reporting and KPI tracking for the Head of Trading
Coordinate with exchanges, custodians, and external operational partners
Monitor risk exposures and trading limits, flag breaches, and operate desk controls and reporting
Report directly to the Head of Trading

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in trading operations, trade support, middle/back office, or a related operational function in digital assets or traditional finance
Proprietary trading, hedge fund, or exchange background is a strong plus
Hands-on mindset; able to build and fix things independently
Comfortable in a lean, non-hierarchical setup without direct reports
Sharp attention to detail under time pressure
Technical fluency with Excel and SQL
Ability to read or write basic scripts to automate operational work
Calm and fast under production incidents
Strong communication and organizational skills
Keen interest in blockchain, crypto, and DeFi is a definite plus
