About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Operate validator node, ensuring the stability, security and efficiency of our Solana infrastructure & operations
- Ensure continuous operation of our Solana systems, perform updates
- Monitoring and performance tuning
- Ability to proactively seek new avenues for extending and speeding up setup in the Solana ecosystem
- Automate node deployment, operations via Ansible and Terraform
- Collaborate with traders, to help them with infrastructure performance
- Be involved in the communication with our partners
- Be part of our on-call duty rotation
- Learn, grow and peek beyond your current role
Requirements
What you’ll need- Strong knowledge of computer systems and networks
- Passion for blockchain & decentralization
- Strong Linux skills and system engineering skills
- Solana validator skills are very welcome
- Fluency in English (Deutsch ist ein Plus)
- Proven ability to design and critically think about system architecture
- Background in Computer Science/Distributed Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Willingness to travel once in a while to meet the team in person and visit conferences
