About the role
- Oversee operations and ensure smooth day-to-day management of residential and/or commercial properties
- Lead, mentor, and provide guidance to junior on-site property managers
- Oversee tenant communications, lease renewals, and resolution of escalated tenant issues
- Assist in managing leasing activities including advertising, coordinating property showings, applicant screening, and drafting lease agreements
- Ensure compliance with lease terms, investigate violations, and address tenant disputes
- Supervise vendor coordination for maintenance repairs and upgrades and coordinate larger renovation projects
- Collaborate with leadership on property marketing strategies and operational improvements
- Oversee properties' financial performance, draft budgets, track actuals to budget, and recommend strategies to maximize financial outcomes
Requirements
- Strong background in U.S. residential and/or commercial property management (required)
- Previous experience managing or leading a property management team
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Proficiency with AppFolio or similar property management software
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Google Workspace
- Comfortable using time-trackers (e.g., Time Doctor)
- Own laptop/desktop, noise-cancelling headphones, and webcam
- Reliable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps) and available backup equipment
- Available to work in US time zones (graveyard shift in the Philippines)
- Available to start within 2 weeks from job offer
