About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • You are responsible for the entire design process from the initial concept idea to go-live, in close coordination with Product Management and Engineering.
  • You gather requirements from stakeholders, facilitate discovery sessions and translate complex business and technical constraints into user-centered concepts.
  • You design features that bring together user needs, business goals and technical realities.
  • You plan and conduct qualitative and quantitative research: user interviews, usability tests, in-app surveys and more.
  • You systematically analyze results, translate them into concrete recommendations for action and derive concept priorities from them.
  • You create prototypes at the appropriate fidelity level, prepare usability tests and run them.
  • You maintain our Design System and continuously develop it: think systemically, implement consistently.
  • You actively drive the adoption of new AI tools within the team and set standards, rather than just following along.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • AI-native working, demonstrable: You use AI tools as a fixed part of your design routine, whether for research synthesis, concept iteration, prototyping or UX writing.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in product or UX design, including relevant time working on complex digital products.
  • Strong conceptual ability: You enjoy thinking through complex systems and translating them into clear, traceable user flows.
  • Solid experience in user research, both qualitative and quantitative.
  • Proven experience with design systems: building, maintaining and evolving them.
  • Excellent knowledge of Figma.
  • Data affinity: You can read and interpret product metrics, funnel data and test results and use them as the basis for design decisions.
  • Self-driven working style: You drive topics forward independently, know when to align, without sacrificing quality or speed.
  • Experience with B2B or SaaS products: You understand how end-customer needs and company business requirements differ and interact.
  • Native German speaker: Our market, our users and our team are German. This is reflected in every concept and every interview.
  • Based in Hamburg or the surrounding area, or remote-capable with occasional on-site presence.
