About the role
- Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Planning Department, currently with 12 staff, covering network & plant planning as well as network documentation
- Development of asset management and the supply concept
- Analysis, optimization and implementation of network and plant strategies
- Preparation of financial and investment plans to steer divisional results
- Responsibility for planning, engineering, construction supervision and settlement of measures
- Preparation and negotiation of service agreements for investment and maintenance measures
- Responsibility for training our dual-study students in technical disciplines
- Independent participation in associations (e.g., VSHEW), projects and assumption of special tasks
- Active participation in our outage/incident management
Requirements
- Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or Building Services/Supply Engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Several years of practical experience in planning, asset management and project engineering in supply technology—preferably with an energy network operator or a consulting engineering firm for building services
- Leadership experience, preferably also in project management roles
- Proficient skills in preparing and presenting complex technical issues for different audiences and in moderating discussion groups
- Initiative, business acumen and cross-functional thinking, as well as flexibility and a strong commitment
- Good communication skills in dealing with customers, employees and colleagues—even in critical situations
- Short-term availability by relocating to the Elmshorn supply area or its surrounding communities
- Class B driving license required
