About the role

- You understand the difference between 'it works on my machine' and 'it works' — and know how to ensure the latter
- Experience with manual testing methods and a good instinct for where bugs hide
- Basic understanding of test automation (E2E, integration, unit) — you don't have to script everything yourself, but should know what's possible
- Ability to document test processes and communicate them to others
- Nice-to-haves: Experience with test automation frameworks (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium or similar)
- Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST clients)
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and how testing fits into them
- Understanding of compliance requirements (GoBD, GDPR) or willingness to learn
- Some initial leadership experience or the desire to grow into a leadership role

- Short decision paths: flat hierarchies and direct access to development and management
- Employee savings contributions (vermögenswirksame Leistungen) and other benefits
- Career perspective: grow with the company — from the first QA lead to team manager
