About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for 8-26 weeks, depending on each family's needs
- Provide at least 1 hour per week of home-based family therapy to each client
- Use the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) evidence-based model with children/adolescents ages 10-18 and their families
- Work flexible hours to meet family needs
- Complete all documentation accurately
- Travel within a one-hour drive
- Transport clients as needed
Requirements
What you’ll need- Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or Licensed Mental Health Professional
- Registered or eligible as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia
- QMHP-C with 5+ years of experience with children and families may also be considered
- Valid driver's license
- Auto insurance
- Personal vehicle
- Good driving record
- Willingness to transport clients as needed
