About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage a caseload of 10-15 families for 8-26 weeks, depending on each family's needs
  • Provide at least 1 hour per week of home-based family therapy to each client
  • Use the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) evidence-based model with children/adolescents ages 10-18 and their families
  • Work flexible hours to meet family needs
  • Complete all documentation accurately
  • Travel within a one-hour drive
  • Transport clients as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Resident in Counseling, Supervisee in Social Work, or Licensed Mental Health Professional
  • Registered or eligible as a Resident in Counseling (LMHP-R) or Supervisee in Social Work (LMHP-S) in Virginia
  • QMHP-C with 5+ years of experience with children and families may also be considered
  • Valid driver's license
  • Auto insurance
  • Personal vehicle
  • Good driving record
  • Willingness to transport clients as needed
