About the role
- Build rapport and use creative therapeutic techniques.
- Help clients resolve issues to prevent institutionalization and keep families together.
- Provide counseling in homes, communities, or schools.
- Provide outpatient, community, and school-based therapy (masters level).
- Conduct clinical assessments and crisis services (masters level).
- Help clients resolve issues to avoid institutionalization.
- Build strong rapport and apply creative techniques.
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's in a human services field (QMHP eligible) or a Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy, Counseling or Social Work (resident/supervisee eligible).
- Prior mental health experience (community-based a plus).
- Flexible, family-oriented, optimistic, and open-minded.
- Ability to work afternoons/evenings and some weekends.
- Safe driver, auto insurance, personal vehicle, and good driving record.
