About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide support to the Theatre team within the Allocation Unit
- Work with Specialist Anaesthetists and Nurses
- Provide high-level clinical nursing care
- Work collaboratively in a patient-focused team
- Support patient safety, well-being and recovery
- Work across St Vincent's Private Hospital Melbourne sites in Fitzroy, East Melbourne, Kew and Werribee
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 2 years of experience within Anaesthetics/Recovery
- Current AHPRA registration
- Postgraduate qualifications in this specialty are desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work as a cohesive team member
- Flexibility in work hours
- Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and form part of the selection criteria
- Compliance with SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy
- Mandatory immunisations/vaccinations may be required, including flu vaccinations
- Cover letter and resume required
