About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support nursing teams across four sites through the Resource Unit
  • Work a variety of shifts across diverse health services
  • Provide clinical nursing care across specialties including surgical services, general medicine, cardiology, critical care, maternity, paediatrics, rehabilitation, sleep studies, oncology and day procedures
  • Deliver individualised patient-centred care according to best practice guidelines
  • Work across departments and sites according to operational needs
  • Collaborate with clinical professionals, caregivers and support staff to ensure patient safety, wellbeing and recovery

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Registered Nurse or Endorsed Enrolled Nurse
  • Minimum of 1 years' acute clinical experience post registration
  • Sound clinical decision making and problem solving skills
  • Ability to deliver highly individualised patient-centred care according to best practice guidelines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Working rights within Australia
  • Ability to work flexibly according to departmental needs and across all areas
  • Criminal record and/or child protection checks will be conducted and form part of the selection criteria
  • Compliance with the SVHA Staff Health Screening Immunisation Policy, including mandatory immunisations/vaccinations depending on the role
  • Cover letter and resume required
