About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement system architectures for unmanned maritime platforms.
- Conduct system-level design, analysis, and optimisation to ensure performance, reliability, and compliance with operational requirements.
- Lead system integration processes, ensuring seamless interoperability of subsystems including hardware, software, and communications.
- Manage technical documentation such as system specifications, interface control documents, and verification protocols.
- Identify and troubleshoot system issues through rigorous testing and evaluation phases, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
- Engage with stakeholders including customers, suppliers, and internal teams to align system capabilities with evolving needs.
- Support lifecycle management activities, including deployment, maintenance, and upgrade planning.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Knowledge in Systems Engineering / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Experience in systems engineering within Defence or maritime sectors, preferably with unmanned system technologies.
- Strong understanding of system integration, testing methodologies, and risk mitigation strategies.
- Proficiency with engineering tools and software relevant to system design and simulation.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of working effectively with multidisciplinary teams and presenting complex information clearly.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
- Singaporean only.
