Key responsibilities & impact

The Project Engineer oversees engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, are completed on schedule, and stay within budget.
Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management.
Review and understand project specifications, drawings, and other technical documents.
Allocate resources effectively to ensure project requirements are met.
Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet required standards.
Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring costs are controlled and tracked.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, reports, and correspondence.
Ensure all project activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Conduct safety audits and inspections to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge in Civil / Mechanical / Electrical / Project Management or a related field.
Certification in project management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) / Professional Engineer (PE) certification or equivalent (preferred).
Experience with specific industry software (e.g., AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project).
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Proven experience in project management and engineering.
Strong understanding of engineering principles, construction processes, and project management methodologies.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple priorities.
