About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed orders target
  • Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and end-users with our clients
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, workshops, visits and meetings to promote our solutions and expand our network
  • Work with internal / external stakeholders to develop proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs
  • Prepare high-level solution designs for enterprise educational technologies product or solutions
  • Provide pre-sales and solution support
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Legal, and Systems Engineering, to ensure client success and satisfaction.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in business development, pre-sales, or solutioning, specifically within the public safety & security, government technology, continuous learning or education sector
  • Experience selling educational technology-based solutions
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding orders target
  • Deep understanding of the public sector procurement lifecycle, contract, and grant funding mechanisms
  • Strong understanding of educational technologies
  • Good understanding of virtualisation, software-defined network, or public cloud infrastructure.
  • Relevant certification will be an advantage
  • Strong interest in AI related technologies
  • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
