About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Responsible for the design, development, and improvement of products.
Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that products meet customer needs, performance standards, and regulatory requirements.
Drive innovation, resolve technical issues, and oversee the product from concept through production.
Develop and refine product designs, considering functionality, user experience, aesthetics, and manufacturability.
Conduct feasibility studies and prototype testing to validate design concepts.
Collaborate on or contribute to control algorithms, motor control, sensor fusion, and real-time system behavior.
Support schematic design, component selection, PCB integration, and electrical system validation.
Identify and address design and engineering issues, implementing solutions to improve product performance and reliability.
Prepare technical documentation and user manuals for internal and external stakeholders.
Stay up to date with emerging technologies and propose improvements where appropriate.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge in Engineering / Computer Science, or a related field
1 to 3 years of experience in product engineering or a related role, preferably in the maritime industry
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
