About the role
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve and exceed orders target
- Build and maintain strong, trusted relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and end-users with our clients
- Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, workshops, visits and meetings to promote our solutions and expand our network
- Work with internal / external stakeholders to develop proposals, bids, and responses to RFPs/RFQs/RFIs
- Prepare high-level solution designs for enterprise educational technologies product or solutions
- Provide pre-sales and solution support
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, including Marketing, Product Development, Legal, and Systems Engineering, to ensure client success and satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of proven experience in business development, pre-sales, or solutioning, specifically within the public safety & security, government technology, continuous learning or education sector
- Experience selling educational technology-based solutions
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding orders target
- Deep understanding of the public sector procurement lifecycle, contract, and grant funding mechanisms
- Strong understanding of educational technologies
- Good understanding of virtualisation, software-defined network, or public cloud infrastructure
- Relevant certification will be an advantage
- Strong interest in AI related technologies
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
