About the role
- Coordinates the nursing plan of care
- Provides direct nursing care
- Instructs/supervises the LPN and Hospice Aide staff in the delivery of nursing care
- Manages the nursing care for an assigned caseload of approximately 15 patients
- Assesses the patient's physical and mental health
- Records and reports the results of the nursing assessment
- Plans, initiates, delivers, and evaluates appropriate nursing acts
- Collaborates with other health care providers in determining the appropriate patient and family-centered plan
- Reports and records the plan for care, nursing care given, and the patient's response to that care
- Supervise, teach, and evaluate those who perform nursing functions
Requirements
- Two years of clinical experience preferred
- Valid NC RN license
- Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance
