About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinates the nursing plan of care
Provides direct nursing care
Instructs/supervises the LPN and Hospice Aide staff in the delivery of nursing care
Manages the nursing care for an assigned caseload of approximately 15 patients
Assesses the patient's physical and mental health
Records and reports the results of the nursing assessment
Plans, initiates, delivers, and evaluates appropriate nursing acts
Collaborates with other health care providers in determining the appropriate patient and family-centered plan
Reports and records the plan for care, nursing care given, and the patient's response to that care
Supervise, teach, and evaluate those who perform nursing functions

Requirements

What you’ll need

Two years of clinical experience preferred
Valid NC RN license
Valid Driver’s License and proof of automobile insurance
