About the role
- Planning, deployment and operation of our LAN, DMZ and WAN environments
- Configuration and operation of routers, switches and firewalls, including routing and security (e.g., VLAN, BGP, IPSec, ACLs, Multicast)
- Establishing and maintaining secure connections to exchanges and connectivity providers, and troubleshooting complex network paths
- Participation in hardware rollouts, site interconnects and architecture optimizations
- Advancing monitoring/observability, evaluating new technologies and actively sharing knowledge
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
- Several years of experience operating complex networks (2nd/3rd level)
- Strong knowledge of routing, switching, firewalling and network security
- Fluent German and good English, both written and spoken
