About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as the dedicated relationship manager for a portfolio of assigned SS&C GIDS clients, understanding their business needs and strategic objectives.
- Proactively engage with clients through regular communication (calls, emails, meetings) to ensure high levels of satisfaction and identify potential issues or opportunities.
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams (e.g., product, operations, support, sales) to resolve inquiries, escalate issues, and communicate service enhancements.
- Onboard new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and understanding of SS&C GIDS products and services.
- Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling additional SS&C GIDS products and services to existing clients, collaborating with the sales team as appropriate.
- Conduct regular client reviews, including performance metrics, service level agreements, and future roadmap discussions.
- Gather client feedback and insights to contribute to product development and service improvement initiatives.
- Prepare and present reports on client activity, satisfaction, and potential risks to senior management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client information within the CRM system.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that may impact clients.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in client relations, account management, or a similar client-facing role within the financial services or FinTech industry.
- Strong understanding of investment data, fund administration, and/or financial technology solutions.
- Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships and driving client satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving client issues.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to travel occasionally to client sites as required.
