About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify opportunities to leverage AI and automation to improve business processes, product capabilities, and client outcomes.
- Research emerging AI technologies, tools, and industry trends relevant to healthcare and enterprise software.
- Build prototypes, prompts, workflows, and proof-of-concepts using generative AI and automation platforms.
- Assist with documenting business requirements, current-state processes, and future-state AI-enabled workflows.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Operations, Marketing, and Sales teams on strategic AI initiatives.
- Analyze business processes and recommend opportunities for increased efficiency through automation.
- Support AI pilots by collecting feedback, measuring results, and documenting lessons learned.
- Prepare presentations, reports, and executive-ready materials summarizing recommendations and project outcomes.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and contribute ideas that support SS&C Health's innovation strategy.
- Complete assigned projects independently while managing priorities and meeting established deadlines.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business, Healthcare Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in Artificial Intelligence, Generative AI, Automation, or Digital Transformation.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
- Comfortable learning new technologies and adapting in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Gemini, GitHub Copilot, or similar platforms is preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, and collaboration tools.
