About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Configure and maintain Time Tracking components such as: Time entry templates, time calculations, time blocks, time types, and eligibility rules
- Time approval workflows (Business Processes), validations, and condition rules
- Support testing and deployment of new countries, time policies, contractual requirements, or regional time rules
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to time entry, approvals, calculations, and downstream payroll impacts
- Develop and maintain Workday reports for time tracking, including: Time entry compliance (late submissions, exceptions) Overtime, premium time, shift differentials, and exceptions
- Partner with HR/Payroll to gather requirements and recommend best practice configurations.
Requirements
What you’ll need- 3–5+ years of Workday configuration experience, with strong emphasis on Time Tracking (and Absence a plus)
- Workday Pro certification(s) in Time Tracking (or equivalent practical experience)
- Proven experience building Workday reporting supporting Time Tracking operations and payroll readiness
- Hands-on experience with: Business Process configuration and condition rules Time calculations /eligibility rules Calculated fields and report optimization
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills; ability to translate policy into system configuration.
- Excellent communication skills; able to work with both technical and non-technical partners.
