About the role

- Lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Partner with senior leaders and department heads to identify, prioritize, and execute process transformation opportunities.
- Facilitate process mapping, root cause analysis, and re-engineering workshops to drive operational excellence.
- Develop and implement quality measurement standards and KPIs to monitor performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Design and analyze customer satisfaction surveys; translate insights into actionable process enhancements.
- Serve as a consultative resource to business units, providing guidance on process documentation, standardization, and optimization.
- Manage complex, broad-scope projects independently, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timely delivery.
- Provide tactical leadership and mentorship to project teams and junior staff.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to remove barriers to success and ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of enterprise policies and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, or High school diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale process improvement initiatives in complex environments.
- Preferred Background: Experience in financial services, particularly in retirement plan services, mutual funds, or broker-dealer operations, is a plus but not required.
- Certifications (Preferred): Lean Six Sigma Black Belt PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Skills & Competencies: Deep knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; data-driven decision-making.
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to execution.
- Proficiency in process modeling tools (e.g., Microsoft Visio) and data analysis platforms (e.g., Excel, Power BI, others).
