Key responsibilities & impact

Configure and maintain mainframe security policies in a Top Secret and RACF environment
Create, update, and manage user IDs, passwords, and access rules
Monitor system security, review security logs, and perform regular security audits
Respond to security incidents and perform forensic analysis
Work with application developers, other IT teams, and compliance officers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proficiency with mainframe security software (RACF or Top Secret)
Strong knowledge of z/OS, JCL, TSO/ISPF, and other mainframe tools
Experience with security auditing, vulnerability assessments, and threat analysis
Proficiency in scripting languages like REXX for automation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills to explain technical risks
Understanding of compliance standards and audit processes
