About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Proactively identify and qualify new sales opportunities through various channels, including market research, networking, cold calling, and inbound lead follow-up.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline, accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments with potential clients to understand their business challenges and demonstrate how SS&C's solutions can address them.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to individual client requirements.
- Negotiate and close complex sales agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial terms for both the client and SS&C.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers within client organizations.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including pre-sales, product, and client services, to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and SS&C product enhancements.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance metrics.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- 8-10 years of proven sales experience in the financial technology (FinTech) industry, with a strong track record of exceeding sales targets
- Demonstrated understanding of financial services operations, including banking and asset management, and/or alternative investments
- Experience selling complex software solutions or services to CFO and CRO of Banks
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and closing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness to travel as required.
