About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications, Apex classes, Visualforce pages, Platform Events, Lightning Components, and triggers.
- Implement and configure Salesforce features, including custom objects, fields, flows and validation rules.
- Develop and maintain integrations between Salesforce and other internal and external systems using APIs, web services, and middleware.
- Perform data migration, data quality analysis, and data cleansing activities.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical specifications, and propose effective Salesforce solutions.
- Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and release notes.
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Provide ongoing support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for existing Salesforce applications.
- Stay up-to-date with new Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Developer.
- Proven expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture, data model, and security model.
- Experience with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, Metadata API) and integrating Salesforce with other systems.
- Proficiency in SOQL and SOSL.
- Familiarity with Salesforce development best practices, including version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required; Platform Developer II is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is preferred.
- Experience with CPQ is preferred.
