About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the settlement process of primary loan syndications and secondary loan trades, including funding and documentation matters
Significant interaction with senior management, SS&C GlobeOp clients, their trading counterparties, agent banks, custodians, trustees and other SS&C GlobeOp departments
Investigate and resolve closing and transactional issues in a timely manner
Participate in the daily/weekly preparation and review of reports, metrics provided to our clients, senior managers to highlight status of trades and risks
Train and mentor junior staff

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree in finance or related discipline
2+ years financial services/securities industry managerial experience in operations and or loan operations
Understanding of syndicated loans; including trade closings - LSTA market settlement conventions
Knowledge of Credit Agreements and their operational mechanics, i.e. funds flows, ticking fees, paydown, drawdowns as well as their interrelationship with agent bank, trading counterparties, custodians and trustee
