About the role
- Perform accounting and reporting for alternative investments, including LPs, fixed income, equities, and derivatives
- Apply GAAP equity and cost methods as well as STAT principles
- Reconcile general ledgers, capital balances, unfunded commitments, and cash positions
- Prepare and review regulatory reports (e.g., Schedule BA) and monthly/quarterly reporting packages
- Analyze non-financial data for regulatory requirements
- Identify process improvements and support implementation
- Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders
- Document and cross-train on processes
Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in alternative investment or insurance accounting
- BS in Accounting; CPA preferred
- Solid knowledge of US GAAP, STAT, IFRS, and LP accounting methods
- Proficiency in Excel; strong analytical and communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and meet deadlines
