About the role

  • Lead and manage a team of Program Leads, Project Managers and Business Analysts responsible for process modernization and change management.
  • Be responsible for successful delivery of assigned initiatives.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on the development of project plans, defining scope, goals, deliverables, timelines, RAID logs, RACI matrices, governance models, process flows, business requirements, status reports.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with internal teams, stakeholders, and external partners to prepare required documentation and corresponding communications to affect change.
  • May be required to provide program updates to clients, third parties and senior executives.
  • Provide executive oversight for assigned initiatives for all aspects of assigned initiatives from preparing business requirements, implementation planning, preparing procedures, training materials, creating test plans and overseeing testing efforts.
  • Working with key business stakeholders within the TA but also peripheral stakeholder teams such as Compliance, Continuity, Client Management, Human Resources and IT for example.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve project risks, issues, and changes as they arise and recognize when to escalate.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports and status updates.
  • Monitor project progress, track performance, and adjust plans as necessary to stay on track with program deliverables.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet the expected quality standards and expectations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and team members to prepare and issue reporting on project status and lead and coordinate status update meetings.
  • Partner with the Program Manager to evaluate project performance post-completion and provide actionable recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Develop culture of continuous efficiency improvements resulting in increased capacity

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field or equivalent experience
  • 15+ years’ experience in Transfer Agency or Investor Services or related field
  • Previous operations management experience is required
  • Strong knowledge of financial services operations in particular with retail alternatives is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including written, listening and presentation abilities
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Strong organizational and relationship building skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically 25% to 50%
