About the role

  • Define and champion the overall product vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews
  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and discovery through development
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and client success teams
  • Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, prioritizing features and enhancements
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed product specifications
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for LP products, monitor performance
  • Effectively communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders
  • Potentially lead and mentor a team of product managers

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product management
  • At least 5 years in a leadership role (e.g., Director, Senior Manager)
  • Strong understanding of the alternative investments industry
  • Experience with private equity, venture capital, real estate, or hedge fund operations
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies (Agile/Scrum preferred)
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive product strategies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities
  • A deep commitment to understanding and serving customer needs
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or relevant Master's degree is a plus.
