Role: Senior User Experience Designer focused on design and evolution of SS&C Chorus intelligent automation platform.
Responsibilities: shape user-centric digital experiences, collaborate with product managers, engineers, stakeholders, and end users to craft intuitive, accessible, and scalable designs.
Team: UX and UXR across UK, US, and Europe; strategic and task leads named; work proactively on conceptual designs and reactively to customer feedback and PM direction.
Design Focus: conceptual designs and prototypes, incorporate AI, iterate on product UX responding to customer feedback.
Requirements
Lead end-to-end UX design efforts for the SS&C Chorus product, from discovery to delivery.
Conduct user research, stakeholder interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions.
Translate complex business and technical requirements into elegant, user-friendly solutions.
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups that clearly communicate design intentions.
Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, engineering, and QA teams throughout the agile development cycle.
Advocate for user-centered design principles and accessibility best practices.
Help define and evolve design standards, guidelines, and system components across Chorus.
Interdisciplinary approach integrating social sciences, interaction and visual design, psychology, business, and engineering.
Collaborate within cross-functional team throughout full product lifecycle—contributing to user research, insight synthesis, concept development, prototyping, and validation.
Partner externally with clients and vendors to understand real-world challenges and inform design strategy.
Senior-level role leading moderately complex projects requiring high judgment, creativity, and autonomy.
Bring deep expertise to untangle complex enterprise requirements and deliver elegant, scalable user experiences.
Actively contribute to evolution of UX practices and recommend improvements to internal design processes.
Qualifications: Master’s degree and 1 year of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience OR High school diploma and 5 years of relevant experience
