About the role
- Identify and target new business opportunities for The Learning Institute.
- Develop and execute strategies to acquire new logos and expand the client base.
- Build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities.
- Provide expert consulting services to clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Develop and deliver presentations, proposals, and solutions tailored to client requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and recommendations to drive their success.
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies.
- Contribute to the development of thought leadership content, including whitepapers, case studies, and webinars.
- Represent SS&C Technologies at industry events, conferences, and forums.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional services, with a focus on business development.
- Experience selling Learning Management Systems, e-Learning, and/or custom training content preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully prospecting and acquiring new clients.
- Strong understanding of the learning and development industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
