About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage and monitor an ongoing portfolio of assigned post-closing releases in the system of record
  • Review transactional agreements and contracts to extract relevant legal information for distributing transaction consideration and funds
  • Perform thorough analysis to understand post-closing contractual obligations
  • Coordinate with the Operations Team to create accurate distribution waterfalls and ensure timely release of funds to the right parties
  • Prepare post-closing release materials and collaborate with the Compliance Analyst Team on updates
  • Communicate and collaborate with internal departments
  • Facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk and prioritize action
  • Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of results
  • Manage and help execute special projects as needed
  • Deliver training as requested by Management

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business, required
  • 2-5 years’ experience within financial services
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret contracts
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including engagement across all organizational levels and with external stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a challenging, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and fluid environment
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
  • Must be available to work Mountain Time standard business hours
  • Occasional nights, weekends, or after-hours work may be required
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use a computer for most of the regular workday
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
  • Knowledge of M&A transactions is desired
