About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage and monitor an ongoing portfolio of assigned post-closing releases in the system of record
- Review transactional agreements and contracts to extract relevant legal information for distributing transaction consideration and funds
- Perform thorough analysis to understand post-closing contractual obligations
- Coordinate with the Operations Team to create accurate distribution waterfalls and ensure timely release of funds to the right parties
- Prepare post-closing release materials and collaborate with the Compliance Analyst Team on updates
- Communicate and collaborate with internal departments
- Facilitate timely problem resolution to mitigate risk and prioritize action
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness of results
- Manage and help execute special projects as needed
- Deliver training as requested by Management
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, or Business, required
- 2-5 years’ experience within financial services
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret contracts
- Proficient in all Microsoft Office products
- Ability to take ownership of issues and follow through to resolution
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills, including engagement across all organizational levels and with external stakeholders
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple time-sensitive tasks in a challenging, fast-paced, deadline-driven, and fluid environment
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity
- Must be available to work Mountain Time standard business hours
- Occasional nights, weekends, or after-hours work may be required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and use a computer for most of the regular workday
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship
- Knowledge of M&A transactions is desired
