Key responsibilities & impact

Define and own the vision, roadmap, and strategy for a secure data analytics platform.
Balance innovation (AI/ML, advanced analytics) with regulatory constraints and risk management.
Ensure alignment with organisational goals, regulatory frameworks and user needs.
Ensure the platform is secure by design, meeting requirements for classified or sensitive environments.
Embed compliance with standards such as: ISO 27001 NIST UK GDPR / Data Protection Act.
Define capabilities for: Data ingestion and integration (ERP, operational systems, external sources). Data modelling, transformation, and governance.
Ensure data lineage, quality and traceability are embedded across the platform.
Lead a cross-functional team (product, engineering, architecture, cyber, data).
Translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into clear product features.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience as a Product Manager for data platforms, analytics products or enterprise SaaS.
Strong understanding of data architecture (data lakes, warehouses, APIs, data fabric).
Experience working in highly regulated environments (e.g. defence, healthcare, public sector, financial services).
Knowledge of security and compliance frameworks (e.g. GDPR, ISO 27001).
Experience working with agile delivery teams.
Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
