Key responsibilities & impact

Build a next-generation data and integration platform using Python, TypeScript and GoLang
Design scalable, resilient systems and solve complex technical challenges with business impact
Take ownership of critical integration services
Shape the architecture of the Model Context Protocol (MCP) ecosystem
Develop high-performance APIs connecting multiple platforms and data sources
Build reliable, secure and highly available services
Influence technical direction while collaborating with engineers, architects and product teams
Contribute to real-time analytics, forecasting, historical insights and intelligent activation capabilities
Support continuous improvement, automation and high-quality engineering outcomes
Provide coaching and mentoring
Contribute to the development of business scenarios

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must live in the UK
Expertise in Python and FastAPI
Experience programming in Golang and TypeScript
Experience with API integration and distributed systems
Good knowledge of PostgreSQL and databases
Experience working in an Agile environment
Strong attention to well-documented code, unit testing and continuous integration
AI engineering, including LLM integrations, is desired
DevOps experience is desired
Cloud platform experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud is desired
Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus and OpenTelemetry is desired
Experience with event-driven architecture and messaging platforms is desired
Experience as a Senior Software Engineer, ideally focused on media-related projects
Very good working knowledge of standard software development frameworks, techniques and methodologies
Experience providing coaching and mentoring
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and contribute to business scenarios
Knowledge of software development tools and technologies
Flexible and curious approach
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or similar work-based experience
