About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

designing, developing, and enhancing business-critical applications across a modern technology stack including Java 17–21 and Spring Boot
help deliver high-quality software solutions that support operational planning, execution, and shipment visibility across the transport lifecycle
contribute throughout the full development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through to implementation, testing, deployment, and support
influence the future technical direction of a large-scale SaaS transformation programme

Requirements

What you’ll need

strong commercial experience developing C# .NET applications along with good knowledge of modern standards and best practices
solid background in Microsoft SQL Server
ability to work independently and take ownership of technical solutions
good understanding of software architecture and design patterns
experience with version control systems, code reviews and integration tools
excellent communication skills
Understanding of Agile methodologies
Experience of Kubernetes, Kafka, Cursor, Azure, JEST or Playwright
