About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Migrate Azure DevOps pipelines to GitLab CI/CD
- Rewrite existing IaC templates to OpenTofu
- Build reusable IaC modules
- Deploy and operate self‑hosted GitLab infrastructure
- Automate provisioning across hybrid environments
- Collaborate with Kubernetes and architecture teams
Requirements
What you’ll need- 6–8+ years of experience in Platform Engineering or DevOps roles
- Strong hands‑on experience with OpenTofu / Terraform
- Deep experience designing and operating GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Experience migrating Azure DevOps to GitLab
- Strong Linux background
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and Kubernetes fundamentals
- Experience managing IaC at enterprise scale
- Automation‑first mindset and operational approach
- Nice to have: .NET application modernization and containerization experience
- Ansible for configuration management and golden images
- Load balancer and firewall automation experience
- Experienced in using AI tools in day-to-day workflow
