About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead regional medical affairs activities supporting Phase 3 clinical trial execution
  • Develop and maintain scientific relationships with investigators, KOLs, HCPs, academic institutions, and integrated delivery networks
  • Support investigator and site engagement activities including trial awareness and protocol education
  • Serve as a scientific resource to investigators and site personnel
  • Establish foundation for scalable field medical organization
  • Drive engagement with targeted healthcare systems and strategic ophthalmology accounts
  • Support development and execution of quarterly engagement objectives
  • Represent SpyGlass Pharma at scientific congresses and advisory boards
  • Gather and communicate field insights and competitive intelligence

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Advanced scientific or clinical degree preferred (PharmD, PhD, OD, MD, NP, or PA)
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device industry
  • Experience supporting ophthalmology, retina, glaucoma, ocular hypertension, or related therapeutic areas strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, GCP, FDA regulations
  • Demonstrated experience engaging with healthcare providers, academic institutions, integrated delivery networks, and key opinion leaders
  • Excellent scientific communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams and matrix organizations.
