About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Oversee and coordinate various civil construction projects from start to finish
Ensure that schedules and budgets are met
Support, coach, and provide guidance to Project Superintendents
Oversee and facilitate the Owner/Client partnership in the field
Schedule and coordinate projects for efficiency and quality
Communicate regularly with clients concerning budget, schedule, and quantity tracking
Ensure adherence to budget and make adjustments as necessary
Support the superintendent in coordinating project needs and manpower
Ensure safety standards and guidelines are followed on the jobsite
Collaborate with clients, supervisory staff, subcontractors, and engineers to resolve challenges
Manage necessary actions due to delays, bad weather, or emergencies
Build and maintain long-term relationships with key vendors and subcontractors

Requirements

What you’ll need

3-5 years of civil experience
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
Procore experience preferred
Thorough understanding of contracts, plans, specifications, and regulations
Ability to remain flexible and efficient in a fast-paced environment
Ability to make intelligent and quick decisions, working well under pressure
Ability to effectively multitask while analyzing and solving problems
Thorough understanding of engineering, architectural, and other construction drawings
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to be professional in any situation
Ability to be a team player with leadership capabilities
Proficiency in spoken and written English is a mandatory requirement
